Cadillac ranch

I’m no artist or art major. The most creative I’ve ever been was writing a darn good paper in my history class.

Their idea of art is manipulating the environment using outside sources. I’m not sure what this is supposed to say (other than Cadillac’s are awesome), but what I am interested in is the environment itself. What does morphing the environment say? Why morph the environment at all? You obviously have something that can’t be said otherwise. It’s being used as a medium to present your art which must be chosen carefully. A painting of a circle, compared to a lit sculpture of a circle inside, compared to the Amarillo Ramp all use different mediums and all carry significantly different meanings.

It’s interesting to see the environment used in a way to invoke a specific thought or belief I guess is what I’m trying to say.
